To enter Wat Pho, you have to take off your shoes / sandals. If you want a bit of luck, it is advisable to buy a bowl of coins at the entrance to the hall which you can drop in the 108 bronze bowls that line the walls.

Dropping a dime makes a nice ringing sound and even if your wish doesn't come true, the money is used to help the monks renovate and preserve Wat Pho.

One more thing, as this is a place of respect, all visitors must wear appropriate clothing, no exposed shoulders or skin over the knees.
