To explore the lagoon, on this island there are also motorboat rentals that can be used. Snorkeling and scuba diving around the Bora Bora lagoon are activities that many tourists do around Bora Bora.
With a number of shark and stingray species inhabiting these waters, several dive operators offer diving packages with stingrays and feed sharks. To increase the land area of the island that already exists in Bora Bora, an artificial motu, Motu Marfo, has been built northeast of the lagoon owned by St. Regis Resort. (as/ip)
