Eleven World Heritage Sites in Indonesia

UNESCO World Heritage Site Determination has three main categories, namely the category of cultural, natural and mixed sites between the two. Places that fall into that category can be, in the form of national parks, forests, mountains, lakes, islands, deserts, to a rural area and city.

There are more than a thousand places on this earth designated as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Some of them are in Indonesia. IPHEDIA.com records 11 World Heritage Sites in the country.

The eleven World Heritage Sites, namely Borobudur Temple, Prambanan Temple, Komodo National Park, Ujung Kulon National Park, Sangiran Ancient Man Site, Lorentz National Park, Sembilang National Park, Gunung Leuser National Park, Kerinci Seblat National Park, Bukit Barisan Selatan National Park and Balinese Subak Cultural Landscape.

Of the eleven sites all of which are tourist attractions that you can visit. There are paid and free entrance tickets. But, for travelers there is no entry fee. Because, even though there is an entrance ticket, being able to visit the World Heritage Site is already more than the experience price that travelers get. (*)
